I am a mother of two boys aged 10,13.
I graduated Mc Master University in Hamilton Ontario with a degree in Sociology.
I was the youngest elected Peachland Official serving the community between 2008-2011.
I am well versed in strategic planning, the delivery of essential services and what needs to be contributed to support a strong and healthy economic industry.
Educated in budget deliberations.
I created Peachlands very first youth club in 2004.
I was instrumental in bringing The Okanagan Boys and Girls Club to Peachland-which found a home in the historical Elementary school.
Initiated the hanging of signs around our playgrounds stating "please don't smoke where our children play".
Sat on the Central Okanagan Economic Development Committee.
Sat on Peachland’s Climate Change Committee.
Attended many Okanagan Water Basin Board meetings.
I have certificates in land-water-osteofit and the aging adult fitness programs.
I am currently researching and developing a fitness program directed towards seniors in fall prevention and mobility training.
I have dedicated a great deal of my life to the hospitality business.
I can be found either on a hiking trail or a dog park with my beautiful Swiss Mountain dog.
I have the courage and strength to make Kelowna a better place to live.
